Safety Tip 1
Just remember the three A's:
Activate the building alarm system or notify the fire dept. by calling 911. Or have someone do this for you.
Assist any persons in immediate danger, or those incapable on their own, to exit the building, without risk to yourself.
Only after those two are completed should you Attempt to extinguish the fire.

Only fight a fire:
► If the fire is small and contained.
► If you are safe from toxic smoke.
► If you have a means of escape.

Always read the instructions on the label. There are four basic steps to operating an extinguisher.
An easy way to remember the procedure is to think of the word "PASS"
Pull the pin
Aim at the base of the fire
Squeeze the discharge lever
Sweep the nozzle from side to side
